Milton Joseph Batson turns to poetry to more fully understand God’s Word and its possibilities for humankind. His poems and reflections chronicle his life story, describing inner thoughts about faith, human emotion, and the indescribable fulfilling joy of experiencing God’s miraculous love.
Milton Joseph Batson began writing poetry and stories at an early age. This is his second book of poetry. Growing up, he split his time between the small island community of Eastport, Maine, and its Huckleberry Finn-type activities and his grandparents’ home on Campobello Island, Canada. Milton served in the U.S. Air Force’s space and missile program for twenty years, after earning a degree in applied science/industrial engineering from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Have you ever lingered to survey one of God’s magnificent forests,
giant redwoods methodically placed over a majestic mountainside,
Complimented by fresh scented emerald green pungent pines
stretching forever upward in praise of God’s miraculous universe?
